Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Our thoughts influence our behaviors. When our thoughts are overwhelmingly negative, they can make us act in a way we don't want to. By helping clients work to better understand their thoughts and beliefs about themselves, we can work together to challenge these negative self-beliefs and engage in cognitive restructuring which aims to change thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Psychological flexibility can help us avoid the thinking traps of black and white thinking, or rigidity, and notice what truly matters. When we can identify our personal values, this can motivate us to change and live our ideal life.
My Approach
My primary focus is on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), recognizing the distressing impact it can have on daily life. I employ evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), tailored to meet each client's specific needs. By collaboratively setting goals and implementing practical strategies, I guide individuals toward managing their OCD symptoms and regaining control over their lives. In addition to OCD, I am well-versed in addressing anxiety disorders that commonly affect adolescents and young adults. By providing a nurturing environment, I aim to help clients navigate the complexities of anxiety, offering coping mechanisms and relaxation techniques to reduce anxious thoughts and physical symptoms.
Recognizing the importance of relationships to one's well-being, I also specialize in helping individuals develop healthy and fulfilling connections by assisting clients in improving their communication skills, addressing conflict resolution, setting and maintaining boundaries, and fostering greater intimacy and vulnerability.

By fostering a warm and non-judgmental environment, I aim to create a space where clients feel comfortable exploring their concerns and working toward positive change.
